24 Stunden in der Provinz

Our friend and artist Martha Riejahl took over a vacant shop space in Heiligenhafen for two months, with the idea of creating a place for cultural exchange and art.

For the opening, I presented the series “24 Hours Here” – eleven images shot within my first 24 hours in Heiligenhafen.

With a humorous eye on the absurdities of everyday life – somewhere between Monster Slushies, harbor festivities, a beach chair wheelchair, and lots of delicious coffee (really delicious).

Over the following weeks, the images were distributed to local people who either appeared in the pictures or had a connection to them.
