I had the chance to accompany my brother, a Cruise Director, on board the MS Artania on a journey from Cape Town to Gran Canaria and document life at sea.

Drawn to the quiet absurdities of ship life, I set out to capture the surreal charm of a floating slice of Germany drifting through international waters.
